Great news: Recertification is transitioning in 2024!
The NBE is excited to launch a NEW longitudinal learning assessment, Maintenance of Testamur in Echocardiography (MOTE) and/or Maintenance of Certification in Echocardiography (MOCE) in 2024, which will replace our 10-year recertification process!
Beginning in 2024, candidates who pass any initial examination(s) will maintain their Testamur and/or Diplomate statuses annually through MOTE/MOCE the year after passing their examination(s).
- Example: Pass 2024 ASCeXAM enroll and participate in MOTE beginning Jan. 2025.
