For Physicians who completed fellowship AFTER July 1, 2009

For Physicians who completed fellowship PRIOR to July 1, 2009 and work in a hospital setting

For Physicians who completed fellowship PRIOR to July 1, 2009 and who are in private practice

For physicians who took the 2012 ASCeXAM or who have previously passed the ASCeXAM, please refer to the 2012 ASCeXAM Certification Requirements and Application to apply for certification.

To have your certification application considered at the next ASCeXAM/ReASCE Certification Committee meeting, your complete application must be submitted no later than March 1, 2013. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed by the committee.

Certifications:

  • Transthoracic (t),
  • Transesophageal Echocardiography (te) (Cardiovascular clinician),
  • Transesophageal Echocardiography (e) (Cardiovascular anesthesiologist or cardiovascular surgeon),
  • Stress Echocardiography Certification (ts),
  • Comprehensive (c)
